A Time to Read

I meant to post earlier this week, but it's been busy. This was the week of the Kentucky presidential primary and I spent the first two days canvassing for the candidate of my choice.

I've spent the last two days reading about politics. Today the blogs and websites were full of controversy. I actually became tense at times. Then I went to my candidate's blog to read more hopeful posts. That helped.

There is a time for everything, they say. For the last few weeks it has been my time to write. Now it's time for me to read. Articles, essays, blog comments, and the occasional novel. As long as words are involved, it's bound to be stimulating.

Assalaamualaikum Sister Jamilah. I am a 13 years old and recently my mum entered a competition on Al-Najm publishers via facebook and won Echoes and Rebounding (e-book). After reading the first two books and thoroughly enjoying them, I decided to buy the remaining 3 books. I have nearly completed the fourth book and I am sad to learn that there are only five books in the series! You are an extremely talented writer, MashaAllah! I am an avid reader and from all the books that I have read, the Echoes series was my most-loved books. My favourite characters were Aisha Evans, Jennifer Adams and Michael Adams- not forgetting the main character, Joshua Adams! Never stop writing, Please!!! I recommend these books to each and EACH AND EVERY ONE of you out there. Believe me, it is the Best books you will EVER read! JazakAllah Khair sister Jamilah for your all the effort you put into writing and getting the Echoes series published. It is definitely well-worth it!
Wassalamualikum
